2010 Summer Night Market in Richmond

This year’s summer night market is bigger than ever. The grounds are packed full of food and retail vendors, the biggest the night market has ever been. New additions to the food vendors include:

  • Fried Cheesecake
  • Fried Chocolate bars

  • Rollies
  • More variety in Korean & Vietnamese food

Klahowya Village in Stanley Park

Klahowya Village is an event in Stanley Park that celebrates Aboriginal culture through song, dance, art and food. The event includes:

  • A spirit catcher train (aka the miniature train ride)
  • 3 performances daily (12pm, 2pm, and 4pm)
  • Vendor booths featuring wood carving, weaving, and painting crafts
  • Aboriginal cuisine
  • Cultural tours every hour from 11am – 5pm
