My name is Lucy and I moved to Vancouver from Toronto. I currently work full-time coordinating people and projects, which also includes marketing and communications functions. I’m a food lover, an explorer, and I want to try everything at least once.
I started writing about my discoveries in 2009, because there was no single source of information that helped me navigate and learn the city – I thought this would be helpful for people who are in the same shoes as me. Vancouver Savvy is for Vancouver newcomers and travellers. I don’t get lost in the city as often anymore, but it still happens once in awhile.
I’m very busy and it is not easy keeping Vancouver Savvy up-to-date, but I’m thankful for my guest writers (Di Ma and Gloria T. so far), who are individuals like myself who have moved to Vancouver from Toronto and contribute occasionally.
